City of Mapusa:

Mapusa or, as it is also spelt, Mapsa, is a small friendly town clustered around the Mount (Alto). This cute town is located in the Northern Goa just 12km from state capital Panaji and is headquarter of Bardez Taluka. It derived its name from Konkani word for a ‘measure’ - ‘map’ and the phrase fill up - ‘sa’. Mapusa is a popular tourist destination and a market town for the surrounding beach areas of Calangute, Candolim, Anjuna and Baga.

It is split into two beaches as you face towards the sea. The beach has mesmerising red cliffs and it was also the host of Sunburn festival in 2013. The beach is less crowded and relatively calm than the neighbouring resorts and beaches. One can easily reach Vagator from Sangolda Greenz as it is only located 10km away..



Anjuna Beach:


Anjuna beach is just located 10km away from the hotel and is known for its unmatched natural beauty, glowing soft white sand and swaying palms, it is one of the hotspot for tourists, both domestic and foreign. the full moon beach parties are what attracts crowds the most..

Saturday Night Market:


This sprawling market is located in Arpora and transpires every Saturday evening from 6pm until late night. Here, one may find everything from archetypical Indian stalls selling spices, teas, Kashmiri carpets and silver jewellery to international designers who convene from all over the word to sell their unique creations, many of which may be found only here. This market also houses food stalls featuring cuisines from across the globe, and the centre stage that hosts live concerts featuring Rock to Indian Classical.
